Troubleshooting & Care Guide

CARE TIPS

  • Give it a Clean: Wipe it down with a damp cloth after rides, but keep water away from the electrical parts.
  • Check Your Tyres: Keep an eye on the tyre pressure—look for the recommended PSI on the tyre itself.
  • Lubricate Moving Parts: A little chain lubricant goes a long way in keeping things smooth.

SAFETY TIPS

  • Always wear a helmet and some protective gear—your safety comes first.
  • Check your e-bike regularly for loose parts or damage.
  • Skip the rides during heavy rain; your bike (and you) will thank you.
  • Test the brakes before every ride—better safe than sorry.
  • Don’t overload the bike—stick to the weight limit for a smooth and safe ride.

QUICK FIXES

BIKE NOT TURNING ON

  • Check if the battery is charged and properly connected.
  • Make sure the battery’s main switch is on.
  • Hold down the power button for a few seconds to start it up.

BATTERY DRAINING TOO QUICKLY

  • Charge the battery fully before your ride.
  • Use pedal assist instead of throttle-only mode—it’s more efficient.
  • Avoid staying in high-power modes unless you really need the extra oomph.
  • If the battery’s 2-3 years old, it might be time for a replacement.

BRAKES FEELING OFF

  • Check the brake pads—if they’re worn, swap them out.
  • Adjust the brake cables to make sure they’re tight enough.
  • For hydraulic brakes, look for leaks and top up the hydraulic fluid if needed.

BATTERY CARE

BATTERY CARE

CHARGING

  • Always use the charger that came with your bike.
  • Plug it into the wall first, then connect it to your bike.
  • Always recharge the battery before it hits 25%.
  • Once a month, treat it to a good 10-hour charge.

STORAGE

  • If you’re not riding for a while, store the battery in a cool, dry place at about 50-70% charge.
  • Give the battery a quick charge every 3 weeks to keep it healthy, if not in use, otherwise follow the care directions listed above.

LIFESPAN

  • Most batteries last 2-3 years. If yours isn’t holding a charge, reach out to us for advice.
